Supercampeones

Hi! Today I’m going to talk about my favorite television show when I was child: Supercampeones, a manga created in 1981 and transmitted by television since 1983.

Supercampeones was about the story of a Japanese child called Oliver Atom, who started playing soccer since he was little. He played in Nuipi, a soccer club where he met good friends that would accompany him for all his life. Throughout story, Oliver played in different clubs from different countries. Also he played for the Japanese national team.

The serie was very fantastic, because the players had special shots and catches –impossible to repeat on reality-. The main character, Oliver, did the “chanfle” shoot. Also games last so much time, I had to wait three or four chapters to see a game ending.

Also, the story showed characters’ thoughts with their respective voices in different situations, especially when they were playing soccer.

I really liked watching this serie, because since I was child that I like soccer. I wanted to be professional soccer player, also I liked it because the characters, playing soccer, supported each other. They were very good friends, had a great friendship (but also there were competitive characters ).

I really enjoyed watching this serie when I was child, and I think I would enjoy it again if I saw it today.
