Hello class, today I will talk about my semester. My semester was exhausting between university, workshops, political work and life in general. The good part is that it is finally ending! University was half good and half bad, because I had some good classes like “Labor in Latin America”, but other classes were bad and also were obligatory and had assistance, like Sociological Theory VI and English IV (the last one has always complicated my existence). With respect to the political work, I think it was a good semester. I learned and I keep learning a lot from my mates and new people that I have met in the journey. At the beginning of the semester I wanted to learn Salsa, swimming and do massages, things that I started but never finished, because the things I mentioned before consumed all my time. I hope to return to this things in vacations, and I hope to do many other things that I couldn’t do because I had no time. I really want to read some books, know new places, hills from Santiago, ride my bike, go to the beach, dancing, learn to massage, uncare. The good of everything is that, after finishing this semester, next year will be more academically calm (I hope so), and I will be able to give more time to other things that I am interested and passionate about. Well that is all I want to say, I hope I can finish good this week and approve English and Sociological Theory VI. May the force be with me. Greetings class!

Hello, today I am going to talk about an ambition that I have: to know Latin America. I would like to know Latin America for many reasons, so I will try to mention a some of them. I would like to know Latin America because in this land there are many countries that are very very different, but also alike. There are so many places, stories, people, conflicts, realities, art, music, and so on that you can learn there. I would like to know her, but not as a quick trip in short time, but hopefully in a long time, slow... but deep. But, honestly, I don’t know if I could be away from my closest for so long. What inspired my ambition of knowing Latin America and also Chile, are the travels that I’ve done i the last years, where I’ve learned so much. About two years ago I travelled with some friends to Bolivia, a wonderful country, but we were there for only three weeks. So, since then I have the ambition of knowing more of Bolivia, and other countries and realities. To fulfill this ambition, this dream, would be very good for me. I would learn a lot. However, it wouldn’t kill me if I don’t achieve this ambition, because it depends, everything depends on the circumstances. By last, I would like to say that if I made this trip, I would like to build solidarity bonds with those who live this other different but similar realities from Latin America. Bonds that can last through time. That’s all. Greetings class!

Hello, today i am going to write about a new from The Guardian newspaper from today, December 9th, 2016. I chose this article that had the following headline: "Russian state doped more than 1.000 athletes and corrupted London 2012". I picked this article because it called my attention the direct accusation to the Russian state. When i red it I knew that given a report of the canadian law professor Richard McLaren –in the name of the World Anti Dopake Agency (WADA)-, it had unveiled that more than 1.000 russian athletes in more than 30 sports –including football soccer- participated or benefited with the state between 2011 and 2015. According to the article, the russian government and the sports authorities agreed to ensure that their sports’s stars could take a prohibited drug cocktail and avoid the doping tests. After this proofs, the International Olympic Comittee (IOC) had the responsability of exame the tests of the russian athletes during London 2012. Also they analized more than 250 doping samples of the russian athletes in the winter olympic games in Sochi, 2014. I think that this new is important because of the serious accusation that is being made. It is a sophisticated doping mechanism that is being revealed, that maybe many countries use. That’s all, greetings class!

Hello, today i am going to talk about the difficulties that i had to do the practice exercises. About the exercises in general, those that were easier for me to do were the reading ones. On the other hand, the hardest for me were the listening exercises. The vocabulary exercise complicated me because I have a very bad memory . Between the listening exercises, the one that was the hardest for me was the second one, because it was a very long conversation, and they talked too fast, unlike the first one, where they were talking a little bit slower and they were shorter conversations. In general, it was too hard for me to understand what they said. Between the reading exercises, the first one and the second one where easier for me and more practical. The third one was harder because of the extension. I will have to practice a lot :( Greetings class!
